Because of the outcome of the poll and upcoming holiday schedule, we have decided to hold our next series of workshops starting the first Thursday in January.   Which would mean the series starting January 7^th, 2010.   

 

The upcoming course will be for Brown & Black Belts only (ages 16 & Up). The course will be on using the Gun, Knife and Club for self defense. The course will focus on some tactical choices to using and defending against each weapon through the “Cycle of Considerations.” 

 

We will work on options of empty hand vs. each weapon, in addition we will work on options of each weapon vs. each weapon. (i.e., club vs. club, club vs. knife, club vs. gun, etc.)   This is a reality based course.

 

The course will be 8 weeks.   The deposit for the course will be $200.00.   Again, the standard practice applies; make every class you receive your deposit back.   Miss up to 2 classes you will be charged $25.00 per class missed.   Miss 3 classes your deposit will not be returned. There is only room for 8 participants.   You may start registering the week of November 2^nd. Your place is not held until your deposit has been received.

 

The time for the class is 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.   Participants will be asked to bring gun (no ammunition), knife live blade with leather sheath, and club.   There will be additional safety equipment available. Participants will be asked to provide personal safety equipment such as head gear, knee/elbow/shin pads, etc.

 

Please note: We will be using the “Shock” Knife during the training and there will be some very intense segments during the course. Filming will be done during the course so all participants will be required to renew release forms.
