Well things have been mixed good and bad. First the bad; I didn't really work towards the fast during the week like I should have. I did start cutting way back on what I was eating. But then at the same time I kept thinking that since I was going to go on this crazy thing it was okay for me to indulge a little. Even on Friday I decided to grab a Starbuck's and while there that crazy "Old Fashioned" donut was screeming at me. "Ah heck, I'm not having a donut for a long time... why not." Well I didn't enjoy the donut at all the whole time I was eating it the logical side of me just kept going on and on how I was going to pay for this indulgence. Well, I didn't enjoy the donut at all. I didn't even finish it. I was hoping to grab a nice "big" salad as my last meal but other commitments ruined that. I had a few handfuls of popcorn a little late in the evening. Technically I shouldn't eat after 9:00 on Friday but I hadn't eaten since 3:00 and was craving something. The popcorn did the trick.
But the problem is when I got up for y first weigh in I was actually a few pounds heavier than I had been for most of the week. 197 lbs. Which is completely unacceptable. The silver lining is that it's more I can overcome with all this.
The caffiene headace kicked in just before freestyle class so this didn't help me at all. Not only is my timing and everything way off as I haven't sparred consistently in months, now I batteling this crazy headache.
Man did you know how many food commercials there are in a 15 minute span? But I digress. I had one more small issue as I had to run to the store for dog food. Man the smells and all that food was really hard. Thank goodness the dog food aisle is not very appetizing.
Luckily though the day was pretty hectic so I didn't have time to thing t oo much about eating. With every stomach growl I sip more water. Now I just have to continue to battle this headache, it should ease tomorrow. Watch a movie (no commercials) and head to bed.
